who are you?
I’m Danielle! I have been interested in astrology since I was a kid, reading horoscopes with lucky numbers and days in the back of teen magazines. I’m primarily self-taught (through Little Red Tarot’s Astro DIY series, Theresa Reed’s Astrology for Real Life, Chani Nicholas’s columns and her book You Were Born For This, and of course endless poking around astro.com), but in the spring of 2021, I also completed Corina Dross’s mentorship cohort, Healers & Weavers.
I’ve also been reading tarot since the fall of 2014, when I was gifted my first deck, and in the summer of 2018, I started a (primarily tarot-focused) newsletter on Substack.
why pythia?
Because I read too much about Greek mythology as a kid, and then wrote a thesis on women and snakes in religion. Because I loved the Oracle at Delphi before I knew about her connection to the Python at Delphi, and Apollo who conquered it.
Plus my sun is conjunct Pythia in Libra, so there’s that, too.
